I have met these individuals during my 3 summer trainings. These PLTW colleagues are also using these microscopes in their PLTW classes and have said it have improved microscope skills and confidence within microscope labs. I have also talked with my advisory board members who have agreed that the bigger screen that is provided with these microscopes will help promote collaboration because everyone in a group can see the same thing under the microscope at the same time. This will also lessen the frustration of "tired" eyes when trying to find certain items under the microscope. Taking a picture of a microscope view is very difficult and often incomplete. The larger screen will assist my 4 year students fully complete their senior thesis that is @ industry level. |
