Pear Deck is an Add-in for PowerPoint slides that allows teachers to assign and monitor responses from students as they work independently. It allows teachers to gather formative feedback in an efficient manner through text, number response, multiple choice, and open-ended web slide questions. Students are assigned anonymous code names that only the teacher has access to, so the teacher can give specific feedback to a student without other students knowing who the feedback is for (they just know that it isn't for them). Teachers can currently access the program and use it with their personal Google accounts, but they would be able to save student work in OneDrive if the district will authorize permissions to this program. Students access the program via a link that the teacher can send in the chat. No student login is needed.
